Vehicle service
A service is vital for the engine components to run effectively as possible without causing any issues
Leaving a service can cause issues further down line from the oil solidifying and going more sludge like , to causing rough running and blockages from Oil pick up pipes.
Fresh oil provides a more clean engine approach and really benefits running costs and maintenance.

Why should I get my car serviced?
There are many advantages to having your car regularly serviced from peace of mind that everything is safe to saving money in the long term.
Improved road safety
Neglecting your car means that any potential defects will go undetected and could develop into a more serious issue further down the line. Having your car regularly serviced means that any issues can be identified and fixed, improving your overall safety levels when out on the road.
Reduced running costs
Regularly servicing your vehicle and having frequent fluid and filter changes will help your car run as smoothly as possible and make it less likely to experience engine issues. As a result, there are unlikely to be unexpected costly repairs. A well-maintained vehicle also increases fuel efficiency, meaning fewer pounds spent at the pump.
Increased car value
Buyers are now expecting more from second-hand cars. Evidence of your vehicle’s service history shows future buyers that your vehicle has been well-maintained and is likely to increase the resale value. If your car has no service history at all, potential buyers have no documented evidence that your vehicle has been looked after which is likely to significantly reduce what they are willing to pay.
Reduced likelihood of breakdowns
If you fail to get your car serviced regularly, there could be a range of underlying problems that will go unnoticed and could result in a potential breakdown. Booking your regular car service will provide peace of mind that everything is in working order and the chances of your car breaking down suddenly are significantly reduced.
Extended car lifetime
It may seem obvious but looking after your car means that it’s likely to last longer. Regularly changing fluids and filters and checking key components improves the overall safety and smoothness of your vehicle. These inspections will help extend the lifetime of your car and keep it running for longer.
Protect your warranty
For new cars, it’s standard that your vehicle will require an annual service to protect the warranty as per manufacturer specifications.

Particle filter additives, also know as Eolys and PAT fluid is an additive for diesel particulate filter. Diesel particulate filter additives used to aid regeneration of particulate filters. The DPF additive fluid lowers the ignition temperature of soot particles during the regeneration cycle of the DPF filter which is triggered when the engine management detects the filter is becoming blocked by detecting pressure changes between the front and rear of the filter.
What is particle filter additives (eolys fluid)?
The additive, namely Eolys is a cerium/iron based solution which is designed to assist in DPF regenerative during normal driving conditions. And if for any reason it’s empty the car will not attempt any kind of DPF regeneration.
What will happen if i do not replenish my eolys fluid?
If the Eolys runs out then for a short while nothing untoward will happen as the FAP fills up with particulates. The problem will come when regeneration is initiated. The Eolys is there to reduce the temperature at which regeneration can take place so the probability is that the particulates will not burn off. This means that in very short order the FAP will become blocked and the engine just won’t work as the exhaust gasses can’t get through properly.
There will probably be lots of warning lights and messages on the dash whilst all this is happening so you won’t be unaware of it!
How much eolys fluid do I need?
Each model varies on amount required every manufacture has a maximum set for the tank.
how long does eolys fluid last?
A full tank of eolys additive should last around 70,000 miles.
Is eolys fluid dangerous?
Eolys fluid is only mildly toxic after it has done its job in the exhaust but this is being measured in parts per million. Actual contact of Eolys fluid with the skin (or any other body part) where the concentration will be higher is to be avoided.
Is eolys fluid expensive?
Eolys fluid can be brought in kits or 1-5litre bottles and prices vary.
Can i top up my eolys fluid myself?
Eloy fluid has a separate tank mainly underneath the vehicle access can be tricky, programming and data reset is required once complete.

cambelt & water pump /Wetbelt packages
A cambelt is a critical component for an internal combustion engine. It is a long, thin belt made of rubber or synthetic material that is driven by the engine’s crankshaft and connects to the camshaft.
The camshaft controls the opening and closing of the engine’s valves, controlling the air-fuel mixture that enters and is expelled from the engine. Without a cambelt, your engine would not run properly.
As the engine ages, and is driven for more miles, the belt may become stretched, frayed or even snap. This is why it’s important to check the belt regularly for signs of wear and tear.
How do I know if my cambelt needs changing?
Sometimes, your cambelt may need replacing earlier than expected. There are a few signs to look out for:
Engine noise
Listen out for any odd noises coming from the engine. If a cambelt is about to fall, there will be a rubbing sound coming from the engine area. If you hear this sound, turn off the engine and get it looked at by a professional as soon as possible.
Car not starting
There are a few reasons why your car may not start but one of them could be an issue with the cambelt. If your car doesn’t start and you suspect this could be the case, call your breakdown service.
Why has my timing belt broken?
There are a few causes of a broken timing belt but a common cause is failure to replace within the recommended interval. Another reason could be from ingress of foreign matter such as a failing or failed auxiliary belt. If the auxiliary belt weakens, fibres can become trapped under the cambelt, causing the belt to jump or fall away.
Your cambelt naturally experiences wear and tear over time. Always take it to a professional garage if you think there may be a problem. For peace of mind that your cambelt is in order, always have your annual car service so that any problems can be identified and repaired.
What to do if the cambelt breaks?
It’s a good idea to get your car regularly serviced so any potential issues with your cambelt can be quickly identified and prevent it from becoming a more serious problem. Even a slight issue with your cambelt can be catastrophic for your car engine, so it’s important to get it looked at regularly.
If your cambelt belt does break, the engine will stop which may mean that systems that rely on it could feel different. For example, the power steering may become heavier, and after a couple of applications, your brake pedal could become harder resulting in a greater pressure being required to slow down. Should this happen, try and pull over to a safe place and call your breakdown service immediately.
